With nearly 30 years in the business, we at Horizon Services pride ourselves on not only providing top-quality A/C, heating, and plumbing services to homeowners throughout our business areas, but establishing deep roots in our communities and giving back.
On Wednesday November 8th, we took the time to give back at the Riletta Twyne Cream Family School in Camden, New Jersey. As the winter weather grows colder, nearly one in three children in Camden living in poverty is unable to afford the basic necessity of a winter coat. But this year, close to 500 brand-new coats were donated thanks to Horizon Services’ support of Operation Warm, a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing winter coats for those in need.
This is the seventh year Horizon Services has partnered with Operation Warm, and since 2010 we have helped donate more than 3000 new coats to the community. This year, Horizon was also joined by volunteers from the Camden Firefighters, as well as 36 eager Horizon Services employee volunteers – including owner Mark Aitken and VP of Operations Troy Rainsberg.
