1987 Dave Geiger founded Geiger Services, Inc. and performed the company’s first plumbing job.
1992 Opened the office on 718 Philadelphia Pike in Wilmington, DE
1998 Installed our first heating and air conditioning system and opened the office on 99 Christina Road in New Castle, DE
1999 Celebrated our 10th anniversary
2000 Launched the maintenance plan program, originally called Extended Service Agreements (ESAs) which was later changed to Service Partner Plan (SPP) in 2008
2001 Officially changed name to Horizon Services, Inc. and completed our 1,000th installation

2009 Expanded service in Pennsylvania to Montgomery County, received the Readers’ Choice Award for Top Heating and Air Conditioning Company, received the Best in the Business: Medium Size Companies award from the Wilmington News Journal for the third year in a row, and launched the Horizon sign at Citizens Bank Park; Horizon Services also celebrated its 20th anniversary.

2012 Expanded service in Pennsylvania to include Montgomery County and Bucks County, expanded service in New Jersey to include Gloucester County, Camden County, and Burlington County, and launched radio campaigns on 95.7 BEN FM, 98.1 WOGL, KYW 1060, 99.5 WJBR, and 1450 WILM
2013 Awarded Honorable Mention for 2013 Contractor of the Year by Contractors Magazine, awarded Suburban Life Top Contractors 2013: Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning award, named a Suzi Award Winner from the Nexstar Network for Horizon How-To Email Campaign – August 2013, and named an Eddie Award Finalist from the Nexstar Network for Radio Campaign – August 2013; also launched our expanded TV campaign on local channels, including NBC3 and 6ABC
2014 Opened our Mount Laurel, NJ location, opened the Horizon Riverfront Rink, and awarded the “Top Workplaces in Delaware” award by the Wilmington News Journal
2015 Took on new partnerships with The Orioles and The Aberdeen Ironbirds, won the Dave Lennox Award and the BBB Torch Award, expanded into Maryland and Mercer County, NJ, and our Senior Vice President, Mark J.
